Results declared 0n 18th April 2012 show that of 272 wards of Delhi MCD which went to polls on15th April,2012 five have been captured by Tyagis.Of these five two are in North Delhi MCD, one in South Delhi MCD and two in East Delhi MCD.
New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Jitendra Tyagi, a veteran civil engineer, was today appointed as Director (Works) of Delhi Metro in place of Mangu Singh who is the new chief of the organisation. Tyagi, who joined DMRC in 2004, has an experience of 29 years in the field of civil engineering and has worked with the Indian Railways. He replaces Singh as the new Director Works.
Cop who probed Jarawa dancing case gets Prez Police medal

Port Blair, Jan 26 (PTI) Superintendent of Police, South Andaman, S B S Tyagi, who led the team probing the episode of dancing of semi-naked Jarawa tribal women before tourists, has been awarded the President's Police Medal for meritorious service. Tyagi who had joined Delhi Police as Assitant Commissioner of Police in 1984, joined the Andaman and Nicobar Police as Commandant of Indian Reserve Police since 2009. He has been Superintendent of Police in South Andaman since 2010.
BANGALORE: R K Tyagi, CMD, Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd, who was appointed HAL chairman on Thursday, will succeed Ashok Nayak who retires on October 31.
The appointment comes even as the company deals with the suicide of Sqn Ldr (retd) Baldev Singh, director (corporate planning and marketing). His family and colleagues said work pressure had forced him to take the extreme step.
While Tyagi is an outsider to HAL, he has had stints at Pawan Hans and ONGC. He's a BE (electronics and telecommunication) from IIT Roorkee and an MBA (marketing). Prior to the Pawan Hans assignment, he was general manager and head, air logistics, ONGC, managing 20 helicopters.
